Since 2001, the SF Bay Area Pitt Club has been working to establish an endowed scholarship at
the University of Pittsburgh. The SF Bay Area Pitt Club is committed to awarding a scholarship
to the University of Pittsburgh to a deserving student in the Northern California area that
demonstrate the potential to succeed in a competitive University environment. Our commitment
is to give the selected scholar the opportunity for a world-class education at the premier center
of learning and research, the University of Pittsburgh.
The scholar selected will be an academically high achiever with a desire to attend a University
that encourages the discipline of clear, creative thinking that offers nationally recognized
learning opportunities in countless fields including Arts & Sciences, Engineering, Medicine,
International Studies, Business and more.
We have partnered with College Track and St. Hope, both renown non profit organizations, and
others that seek to support our mission in offering this scholarship to a student who otherwise
would not have the financial means for this education.
All funds raised from our charitable functions are 100% dedicated to endowing our scholarship.
These scholarship funds are held in a secure account held at the University of Pittsburgh, Office
of Institutional Advancement.
